As S said, Seller is not liable if proven delivered, they have completed their end of contract formed when bidding on an auction, You need to set up a safe zone for parcels to be left out of sight, and provide delivery Instructions, Which can include please knock, so if you are home you can get parcel immediately from door, one of my drivers leaves mine in my safe Zone as per delivery instructions, but also off his own back always knocks too, so if customer is home they can retrieve it asap, as most couriers know they get followed & have been followed, hence on a couple of occasions, Both...
As Gary said above, Make an offer is only for Casual Sellers, not Intrade, so is not a feature in My Products, It is a combined platform for both Intrade and casual sellers, So does not support the make an offer that is solely for casual sellers, I too have gone to my auctions on personal account and manually added it, on selected auctions only, as originally the make an offer was only for app users and was not available to desktop to users, but that changed earlier this year,
Simon They give an "estimate", it is not firm, depending on addresses it can vary, South Island is quite expensive to send now with some areas, and with NZ Post best thing to do is work out shipping costs to various areas Urban and rural, use my products and make a template, It is not rocket science, you can also add a bit on to cover packaging etc. But from $11 to $18 sounds like address maybe rural, or the quotes you were given were best so would be Aramex, and you are trying to book NZ Post? That will take it from the $11.00 mark to almost $18.00
If you get a new account, change back ground of Photos, do not use your old photos, as it will give you straight away if same backgrounds, Change format in your descriptions, and in your shipping too, round shipping up etc. which you are entitled too do, change shipping format if still using the old format, do not copy and paste from past auctions on old account, re write any conditions on auctions, re word etc. This is how I identified someone Intrade who had shocking feedback, they started a new account, but other account still active, not disabled, but photos looked familiar, especially ...
Gary-NZStocked I am with you on this comment of yours - It would make things simpler if Ping was not able to be used if shipping is not specified, unless the seller offers pickups. I often pay by Ping and then pickup. I am over using ping where there is no shipping, It takes sellers 3 days or more to get back with shipping costs when Items should have been shipped within 3 days, so expect a quick response in a day or two at least?, One Item I used ping, they did not get back to me with actual shipping until day 8, so was no way gong to get item in time for when I intended to use it,
If it is Australia you will be fine, but other countries, it is best to contact Trade Me and advise them, and they will put note on your account, with dates/Countries etc. (as I have done this in the past way before Covid,) so they know it will be you accessing your account, as some countries you maybe blocked.
Hi Mathew, When you track your item via the Trade Me E-Mail that buyers are automatically sent, for example on bottom of Aramex page their is a link submit parcel Inquiry, that is for buyer to use, That is a link supplied to the buyer, it is a quick easy link to use, and they will get back to you when resolved, the two I did a for buyer a few days ago & where resolved overnight when they received their parcels on Saturday, they were acted on within half an hour of submitting, Only if they come back parcel unable to be located or Lost, Then the seller needs to take responsibility and put an ...
Jessica Do you use BidBud, because it will send your address automatically when you bid, and accept a Fixed Price offer, after 18 years I have never had a wrong address sent as a buyer, It usually happens as the user is at fault, So why have you not changed or deleted your old default address if it is not the right one?, it is your responsibility, to make sure it is correct, if it is not a correct address you are at fault for not updating it, user error,
Jessica sorry but after many years on here, it is usually buyer at fault, Sorry but that is the way we see it, as I have brought a lot in last few days and won another tonight, and I have had no issues, have just sent my address through now for a seller,
If your address has already been sent, you must have used a buy now, so you have obviously not selected the correct address before confirming your buy now, As by using a Buy Now your address is Automatically sent, no option to send it manually, when hitting a buy now the next page asks you to select your address before you confirm your buy now or pay via Ping, It sounds like it is your error an not Trade Me's,
