Michael Everything these days is tracked, including NZ post, the days of untracked bags has gone, I for one do not want to have to state what carrier I use, and no I don't have problems, I want flexibility between carriers as outlined in an earlier post, So if a customer is Rural with my main carrier when I go to book, I then can just use NZ post as an alternative if it comes up urban, My rates (set shipping templates) are set as an average between carriers for the individual sizes, so in terms if I have to use NZ post for one because Rural with my main carrier, I do not ask for extra, it ...
Malcolm I do everything from My Products, Book Courier as it is all on one page, easier than normal site, including placing all my feedback etc, It is very rare I go to my Sold Page outside My Products,

I have had a buyer say not received etc, Tracking says delivered, photo proof it was delivered, they came back later said found in garden?, must have been a very very blusterly/tonado/tropical storm day for it to be blown from sheltered door in to a garden??, a large parcel?, hmm !, I guess they did have it all the time, and were just trying it on for a refund, but as delivered with photo proof, sorry no refund, There is always the possibly been taken by porch pirates, which is not sellers fault, if they do not provide delivery instructions of a safe place to leave,
I E-mail & ask for bank account to refund, 9 times out of 10 they tell you not to worry about it, go buy a coffee etc, which reminds me I asked someone a couple of days ago to refund $5 & have not heard back?, Their address is rural, they paid rural, but booking it classed it as Urban,
At this time Susan, there are lengthy delays, backlogs in Depots where they are caught up with stuff for businesses that could not be delivered, I have summited 2 inquiries for the same buyer today, ( yeah one of those that buys and pays. so I just shipped as no communication, then 2 days later buys more and wants to combine, Sigh!) and as a buyer I did one myself that I had been tracking after 12 days, seller made so many excuses not too, told me to do it, as tracking gone quiet handed over to rural allocated tracking code but no scans,?, NZ Post but I am not Rural, submitted it on Saturda...

themuss11 In this case, the phone was found faulty on it's return, you do need to cover the shipping both ways, Buyer should not be left out of pocket if item was not as described,
People whom will not accept cash are literally cutting their own throats, and losing themself sales, Cash is King and always will be, after the many disasters over the past few years in NZ, internet outages bank outages, power outages, eftpos going down etc. people are indeed learning to always carry cash, Cash is coming back big time, a lot have wised up to the nonsense of having cashless society, it will never happen, So if you do not accept cash, expect to lose sales, people want to pay cash on pickup to rule out any scams etc. make sure items are as described, so have option of walking...
