Gina if you get post bags & Tracking and have them at home, you can book a courier to pickup so no need to go to post shop, https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/bookapickup/address I am slowly using up my old red bags and labels this way, including the little orange stickers, as you can still buy the Black Tracking Labels in post shops by the book, so now I have changed my shipping for PO boxes to Std NZ Post Tracked, for when they relist, as I had another PO Box address the other day that I could not book,
Gary-NZStocked I received a parcel this week 49cm x 39cm x17cm booked as a large Bag, within Island !, it included a flat 38.5 x 38.5 flat square item with other stuff, That flat item for one will not fit into a bag, not rocket science, Had it been packed with care easily gone for the $10.71 with Aramex, but this parcel was in the $21.18 range !!, So the couriers been cheated out of a good $10!!, unbelievable, What I was charged was fair no need to question as send the same items, But when it turned up with a JV Bag code, alarm bells !!, and was not expecting a parcel quite that big!!

Steven Most here buy their bags off Trade Me, there are a lot of sellers that sell the white bags, As I am one who buys their bags on here, Also make sure your item actually physically fits inside a bag size you book it at, Do Not sit your parcel on top of a bag and use those 2 dimensions alone, that is wrong, if it does not fit into a bag it is a parcel, You will find when it gets to large bags, you are better off just putting an item in a old box or wrap as a parcel and book as a parcel as cheaper than a large bag,
Lisa yes they can go automatically, as when you place your bid you choose your address where you want parcel sent before you confirm, some of us only want addresses sent via Trade Me and Not in E-Mail, as address is automatically sent when you use a buy now, and we would like every winning bid have their address sent Automatically, as so much time wasted chasing up addresses, especially when they have paid and we cannot send,
Tania Have you made sure you have the I will print my own label selected?, or have you selected I will write tracking number on, in which case you will not get link to print, But the PDF is always on the booking E-Mail to open and print from there,
David when you say: Trade Me did say they will be withdrawing the old shipping templates for professional sellers, which presumably means for everyone who is in-trade is that just for Multi Quantity only or for all auctions across the board?, are you able to comment more on that?
Brayden If sellers send out Automated payment instructions, have shipping on their auction, You pay & can send a courtesy E-Mail advising you have paid (Optional) There is no need for seller to communicate with the buyer Via E-Mail, They do not have to send out a tracking number, If you want it ask for it, But most of us now use Book a Courier so Buyer is sent an Automatic E-Mail to track their item, if not Book a courier we enter tracking numbers on sold auction so they appear on buyers won auction as a link to track, I also place feedback on day item is couriered with info to say link t...
Bryce The seller needs to follow it up and make the claim, as the seller is the one whom has formed a Contract with the carrier when you use their service, The seller is also the one that knows how it was packaged, size etc, The Courier Company will refund the seller where appropriate, then seller will refund the buyer,
