Gary-NZStocked I knew it applied in my mind from years ago, but still needed to double check if it still applied?, and screen shots is confirmation, It is the correct Information, the way things can change in here with no communication, sigh!, but all I can say is bring back the old layout help pages from years ago easy to search, now hard to find as hidden, you need to open + pages to drop down to show stuff,
Maria&Nick If they are Multi Quality, Buy Now only, you can withdraw them for free, and start again listing them as just a auction
jason If Seller does not have time frames on auction to pay within 3 days etc. you still have 2 days to make contact and 7 days to pay under Trade Me's guidlines, Buy Now is "NOT" Pay Now, which some sellers think, It is same as winning by bidding,
Yes, keep your own excel spreadsheet, if you are Intrade you should be doing it anyway, you never know when Mr Tax man (IRD) will call Lol!, but since it is done online now, haven't had to provide evidence, but one day they may just ask??, My spread sheet always matches my sales summary, I am strict and only sell on Trade Me, no sales outside TM, if they want something not listed, I make an listing exclusively for the buyer / asker, I also snippet my Sales summery every Sunday night /Monday morning and put in a folder, and yes for reasons I have actually gone back and checked earlier dates,
Have a payment deadline on your auction, example, Payment must be received in 3 working days etc. conditions they have agreed too when the bid or use buy now, after day 3 send out a reminder or two, I give a 10 day deadline, (as things do go wrong in our lives to be fair) money must show in my account by 11am cut off day, this allows overnight payments to show, If you make payment later to try and complete trades money will be refunded, (otherwise some never learn). after that send an E-Mail to say Trades now cancelled etc. Blacklist, Place feedback as warning to others, get fees back & rel...
Michael It is usually the one that has set the highest Auto bid will win, if it is set higher than the buy now when buy now is added, in the event several have set the same auto bid value, it goes to the one that set their Autobid first, this is going by losing E-Mails I have received,
Rich A lot of banks do not accept over the counter payments into an account that is not yours anymore, this change was a while back now, only option these days is an Internet Transfer or cash on Pick up, https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/money/122835522/banks-wont-accept-cash-from-customer-trying-to-deposit-money-into-friends-account
If you list your items via My Products, You can also set it up to exclude members who have a low feedback rating, or who aren't Address Verified, from your Fixed Price Offers. Example below, It is a shame we cannot restrict low feedback's bidding on our actual auctions in My Products too,
When you list for a pick up item, have conditions like it must be picked up within 10-14 days, which can allow for 2 weekends for them to arrange a trailer if needed etc. if they work during the week, send a reminder on day 7 making it clear it must be picked up by a certain date, If not picked up within that time frame after 14days, just cancel the trade, offer it too any watchers, or relist, don't forget to blacklist original buyer so they cannot bid again, If you do your listings in My Products, they will remain there forever, so you can relist months down the track with original photos...
If that is your Area, Clevedon is your nearest, it narrows it down to an actual area of Franklin, better than just having Franklin, then State on your listing clearly what area Pick Up actually is, This is what others do if their suburb is not on the drop down list,
