As in clause 10.1. A seller using Ping must ship items as quickly as reasonably possible (and in any case no later than within three working days of notification of payment). , https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007264771-Ping-terms-and-conditions
crax No most auctions you cannot see bidding history anymore, and that is my concern too, no way to see suspicious bidders and if shill bidding maybe going on, as I would have liked to see bids on an auction, as you cannot see those bids of casual sellers who should be Intrade, that win auctions then on sell the items they win?, now no proof they are doing so?, you see them bidding but when it closes no idea who actually won?,
Jane What sort of time frame are we talking?, weeks months years?, as I have had no lost or undelivered parcels for years, Are they Standard Post or Courier parcels?, as all parcels should have tracking these days, even the old red bags, tracking should be added, as you can still buy the black tracking labels to add, Do you use the Trade Me Book a Courier?,Do you print your own labels or just write a tracking number on?, as often if not written on neatly can be misread and wrong labels are put on, so your parcel may show never been scanned, other thing is writing on with a pen that may ge...
Ok, I can see a downfall if this can happen, sellers deleting their original answers, Shipping scenario for starters, Buyer asks for shipping, seller answers with a price, Buyer then bids agreeing with that shipping forming a contract, But then seller decides that is not enough, deletes original answer puts a whole new higher price up, bidder may not see?, They then win auction pay original shipping they were given?, What ground does the buyer have if seller comes back and says no it is more than that as in answer to question because he edited it later, after buyer had ma...
vui If you print your own labels out, you can just take parcel to Post Shop and get them scanned in, once it is scanned in it then cancels out the pick up, as will show collected from sender, so if you want to do this rather than waiting for them to be picked up or for security reasons, best thing is to post date the pick up date, so courier does not turn up to pick up before you have got them scanned in at a Post Shop, So if you want to drop at post shop for example on Tuesday, book the pick up for Wednesday, this way paths are not going to be crossed and you will not be wasting a courie...
T If NZ Post said item was indeed delivered, they usually will not refund?, as delivered, If it was stolen from your Letter box, you may want to take some responsibility and give sellers delivery Instructions so it can be left in a safe place, not the Letter Box, once it is proven delivered from the company involved no refunds, it is generally also out of sellers hands, they have done their part and seller should not have to refund in that instance, as you did not provide a safe place for parcel to be left, I have it clear on my auctions, "Sorry" No refunds on lost items before I have lodg...
Ok, It seems a blacklisted member cannot ask for a relist, I saw this post last week, so did an experiment, put an Item on my watchlist on personal account, (as dealt with some bad sellers on that account, some whom should be Intrade, but don't sell / describe items honestly), and now auction has expired I checked, and this is what I got,
Lisa Anyone on Trade Me can ask for a relist, if you go to expired auctions and find something not sold you want, you can ask for a relist, If it is a watcher they will generally ask for a Fixed Price offer, So more than likely it is not your watcher requesting a relist, You are over thinking things, and too focused on your watchers,
I would run it via Trade Me chat, that is very excessive and not allowed, They will contact the seller, https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007000792-Listing-policies Shipping: Shipping and packaging charges must be reasonable and a reflection of the actual costs for packaging and postage, and shouldn’t be inflated for profit. For example, we don’t think it’s cool to charge for your time and petrol as part of your shipping and packaging cost. I won an item that had excessive shipping, I followed up to get tracking number as sent, and queried why shipping was so excessive? as a...
I have just gone into an old multi quantity listing in my products item to add stock, and got greeted with the " you''re using an outdated shipping option", after reading through these comments, I am not going to update it, as for having to disclose the carrier we use, I do not want to do that either, Just had a buyer demanding not to use Aramex, because some one else told her to tell it to seller??, yet was not even stated on my auction that I use them, this will turn people away from your auctions straight away as so much negative comments about Aramex plastered on message boards etc, yet...
