I have just gone into an old multi quantity listing in my products item to add stock, and got greeted with the " you''re using an outdated shipping option", after reading through these comments, I am not going to update it, as for having to disclose the carrier we use, I do not want to do that either, Just had a buyer demanding not to use Aramex, because some one else told her to tell it to seller??, yet was not even stated on my auction that I use them, this will turn people away from your auctions straight away as so much negative comments about Aramex plastered on message boards etc, yet...
If they kill My Products, they will literally be killing Trade Me, as that platform is the only thing keeping a lot off us here, as listing on the actual site is a dogs dinner, which does not effect those of us whom currently are using My Products, but the appear to be trying to push people towards my products?
Bruce I just checked this about 5 mins ago, I listed a folder of stuff last night, Just went to that folder on the filter "ALL" and Indeed nothing is showing, but if you filter to Currently Listed they all show, as do all the others on the menu out of stock etc, It seems when it is set to all, it shows nothing, Ok, have just gone and checked again on All as I got sidetracked awhile ago Lol!, as I was checking on other PC too, and now it appears to be working as normal, on both my PC's Phew!!

Badger That may help you out, but does not help the buyer as they cannot see it, so you will still have to manually send the tracking link to buyer so they can track it, so Trade Me need that tracking Link back, as a seller I use it for when I have Standard NZ Post Parcels, as a Buyer I hate having to keep asking for tracking numbers to track my parcels, so I know when they are onboard with courier in mornings to be delivered, so am here to receive them, also the buyers should be tracking their own parcels, and only need to contact you if there is an issue, That is why Book a Co...
Emma You should never refund until the buyer has returned the item in question and you have inspected it, make sure it is the same item you sent, and is in same condition, as some try and do switcheroos, and send you back a similar item, which has been used and has a possible fault, I have it happen to me, but they failed to notice the number stamped on bottom was a serial number which I always take photos of, Also some get refunds and never return the items, as have no intention of returning them, they just want the refunds then they ignore or block your E-Mails, When you buy f...
Evening, If Item has been proven by courier it was delivered, no you do not have to refund, you have completed your side, Buyer needs to provide delivery Instructions with a safe place for parcel to be left, if it has been left by a door etc. as no delivery instructions and been taken, that is at Buyers the risk, Do not refund if it has been delivered, as some still try to get refunds and freebies, I have this on my auctions, so now they do not even try and say not delivered, as before compulsory tracking, it was rife people claiming they were not getting their parcels, but as ...
Thanks Gary, Yes, like others I was horrified last night when I came to boards for a catch up read, and saw that, went and changed my surname on my membership address, as a temporary measure,
Jenquip as above, "Sorry" No refunds on lost items before I have lodged a claim with Carrier first. if proven it was delivered, No Refund. otherwise everyone would claim parcel missing, stolen etc. Sellers have to draw the line, once parcel delivered that is it. no refunds, I will always lodge a claim first, after 19 years on here we hear it so many times, you advise buyer you will lodge a claim 1st and parcel miraculously turns up, or is found and delivered on a Sunday by NZ post?, Yeah right, People make false claims for instant refunds, it has been proven, if buyers make too many clai...
I have always advised Trade Me when I travel overseas, Last time was via Chat, Talk to person, They can then get it noted on your account, even with dates you are away, so they know it is not suspicious activity, But it is known there are some countries you cannot access Trade Me at all, way back on the old message boards years ago, there were stories of members being blocked as they had not informed Trade Me, they would be accessing their account from overseas, So it always pays to let them know.
