When I had Pickups, it was must be completed/picked up within 10days, as when I listed and it closed, it allowed 2 weekends to get it sorted, as people are too busy or working during the week, so if a big item, ample time to organize trailer etc.
Yes, I have blacklisted a few too, when they have comeback, trying to haggle when I have already said Sorry no, All Buy Now and reserves are as listed, or want a lot of auctions put into just one auction with a discount? so they only have to use the Buy Now once to make it easier for them, no thought for poor seller and the logistics doing that, when they are currently listed, do they think we will withdraw them at cost of $3 each make more photos to make one auction wasting our time etc?, and then lose individual sales towards our sell through rate for their benefit, yes the mind boggles o...
Yes, the Courier Labels always have pick up address on them, and NZ Post also have your Phone number on label too of sender, I print my own labels and black out certain details especially phone numbers, If Couriers need senders details to return etc. they get them online as the pick up address etc. so not necessary for the world to know, as Courier had no trouble contacting me over a parcel not delivered due to been damaged, as they had my E-mail address online connected to the booking via Trade Me, and with so many scams going on now, prefer too that stuff not made public.
Contact Trade Me, and say you want to run a charity auction for said organization, if approved there will be no fees and trade me will promote it too, https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000401852&id=74e1fb0b-f526-11e9-9502-fba618638700 I ran an auction for a registered charity earlier this year, which Trade Me approved, and I personally handed over the cash, and had this first line of auction ~~~~~~~~"Trade Me approved Charity Auction"~~~~~~~~
I think it is because your account balance is only $1, that is not enough to cover your success fees if sold, You need to top up your account to cover success fees for your sold items, no money in your account you cannot sell,
Lachelle Use this link below and check addresses https://www.addresscheck.co.nz/ All Couriers have different Zones, so obviously the address you are trying to use is outside the Aramex Delivery Zone, so therefore it becomes Rural as they have to hand it over to NZ Post to deliver, hence the rural charge, Some NZ Post addresses are also Rural, but not Rural for Aramex, so it works both ways,
Rinel If I was you, I would give Trade Me the heads up & raise your concerns on how you feel about this buyers actions, and feeling like it maybe a scam to be refunded if it goes missing, Contact them tomorrow on Chat. as they will note it on the buyers account, as if it could be a scam, their account may indicate concerns raised before on this buyer, which Trade Me will see, but not disclose, but it will be on their account for the future if others have concerns, So many scams going on lately, you can never be too careful,
This is one reason, I am just sticking to the old templates, Then if things change, I can just put a note on my footer like I have now, and running auctions with no Buy Now's, I will not be held to ransom with the new templates with shipping times, if something goes wrong and you are unable to ship?, as it does sometimes with odd night in hospital, I have a bit of leeway, as do state I do not ship everyday, But as you stated above Gary their shipping times should not be hidden in their payment Instructions, If they have done it for security reasons, as not to advertise their absence on au...
Also, just another note, some watchers opt out of the Fixed Price Offer E-Mails, so do not get notified, so if they do not know they have been offered an item they cannot decline it either, so not always a case of can't be bothered, It is a case of they don't know they have been offered an item, or have not been online to see they actually have fixed price offers, Blacklisting watchers in reality is a waste of time, and a possibility a lost sale, as may be an item on their wish list, hoping one day they can actually buy it, but now is not the right time, Other thing is a lot of us have 2 ac...
