cratecurator The bigger picture, how many Intrade Sellers will now start selling on casual accounts, as It was a lot of those casual sellers should be Intrade?, Hopefully they will now make more of those casual sellers Intrade, whom are already avoiding Intrade Fees,
1des I and others have added it to our shipping template, and also in our listing footers, So in shipping $0.00 Pick-up ********** Township etc. Too many districts in New Zealand to add all, now and then just need to put factual location in your listing Script,
millier Have you tried using my products, everything is on one page when creating a listing and you have the option to delete all photos on your template or just some individually, as you can just duplicate a listing template and edit what you need to for a new product, There are so many advantages of using My Products than listing on the actual site, you can set up auctions in advance and just have them parked up / inactive, then just activate them when you want to list them and set your closing times, so not rushing to put listings up at a certain time, you just select and activate the ...
K They may have had cash offered, so made bank deposit, they may have also sold the item from listing listed before the 3rd, hence no enforced ping at that time, as Mine listed for 10 days on 2nd so closed Wednesday 12th with no ping but still only Bank deposit, that is only 5 days ago, So therefore it may have been sales on old listings with no Ping, like mine, also some Intrade Sellers were still relisting well after the 3rd still with no ping and still offering bank deposit, so may have been some of those, Sometimes things may not be as clean cut as you may presume,
Callum They asked a question, I gave them the link, no need to check their account, I have had sales yesterday, some paid via ping, and some selected cash & paid by bank deposit, and I prefer bank deposit, technically not a loop hole if they still allow us to offer cash, as you can still send out automatic payment details as per normal, and people can make a bank deposit, It's peoples choice, and some understand where we are coming from and not wanting Ping, Some cannot use Ping, as 2 people required to sign off purchases in organizations, like schools, Toy Libraries, Play Centres etc. who...
Heinrich You need to contact your seller, who booked the Courier, as they formed a contract with the carrier when they made the booking, the seller needs to file the claim with the Courier, make sure you have good photos of all packaging and the damaged Item to give them, if the damage was caused by inadequate packaging and courier refuses the claim, seller will need to refund, and learn the importance of packing items properly,
Sheryle The $11.20 is correct for NZ Post within Island, $9.25 is for Aramex, also when you got your quote you may have got it for Best Price the cheapest between the couriers, as there is an arrow for drop down options, so if you only use NZ Post you need to get Quotes just for NZ Post, in this case, I'm afraid you made an error and are booking a different courier than you quoted, you need to pay the difference, the buyer formed a contract with shipping cost you had on the auction, otherwise you just have to book with Aramex, the Quote you had on auction, next time remember to select you...
Andrew We are just members like you, but have been on Trade Me for many years, I have been on here for 20 years, we are here to help, but do not have all the answers, we can only comment from our own experiences and knowledge, I am in no way gaslighting, If you use the Address checker, as in post above https://www.addresscheck.co.nz/, If it says the address you have been provided is Rural, Give screen shot to your Buyer, If they do not want to pay for Rural they need to provide an urban address, Also using the Trade Me book a courier, Manually typing the address in can give different...
Andrew I have had Raglan addresses postal code 3225, and they were Standard Delivery with NZ Post, Only Rural with Aramex, Did you try the address checker above?, as they will tell you, as my screen shot below shows, I have had no problem booking Raglan as urban with NZ Post, 3225 post code is both urban & Rural, actual address will tell you Urban or Rural, as a road near me, part of Road is Urban rest of Road is Rural as it heads out of town,
AJ Don't forget to factor in time, packaging you use that you have to buy like tape? wear and tear on your vehicle, petrol etc. or maybe a bus fare to get there, standing in queues etc. this is your cost, not the cost Buyer is paying for courier, these costs come out of your pocket, not covered buy the courier charge you charge your buyer, for the flat advertised rate of sending a parcel or Courier parcel, It may actually cost you more than the savings when you go to post shop for an Economy service, (Not Courier), that at times has poor tracking, usually the pick up collected fr...
