Agree with you but this also affects casual sellers not just the professional sellers.
The same thing is happening to me along with other issues. You will see through the other posts that there appears to be more and more issues with many members unhappy with the site. You will probably get the generic it is due to scheduled upgrades or a known glitch however this issue has been over the last 3 weeks for me. You will probably be told to use my products and all your problems will go away. Problem appears to be with Trade Me making changes which havent been fully tested and not doing anything about it. Would be surprised if this is just you and me that this is happening to
I had an issue with a parcel that was picked up on 13th June. If you dont have a printer to print the label the courier takes it back to the depot to have a printed label attached to it. This can cause a delay of 24 to 48 hours. Nobody takes any resoonsibility for package until it is scanned into sysem. It took me nearly 3 monrhs and local MP to get courier to refund $15.76. They found parcel twice but lost it 3 times. Item clearly had my address on it so I beleive parcels clearly do sit in depits lost. Good luck
Im not impressed with the new system and as others have stated it is not user friendly. If your tech savy you may be able to work it out but if like me you are an older person on their own and struggle with technology its an absolute nightmare. I received an email in regard to a question on my auction but the question was not showing on trade me????

Rodney I have had the same experience and uaed the same method as you. Gary do you have a work around if you no longer have the trade me email and its dropped off your sold items??
Can someone tell me the how to get around this. In regard to selling old unused postage stamps. Unused stamps are on the prohibited items list. There are thousands of listings for stamps with postage costs. As trade me system allows the prohibited items to have postage costs, how do sellers get on if item is lost by courier? Obvious is to have pick up only but due to falling sales it would not be worth listing. Any thoughts
I used to get the email about 3 weeks when I brought items but for some reason I no longer get them.
Before doing new post thought I would ask on here. So I dont have a printer so cant print my own labels. I book my courier through Trade Me and have been given option to print label OR write the tracking number on package. Had a courier booked to collect item on Friday 13th June. I was home and saw courier collect package before Lunch. Still showing as waiting for pick up. I have just spoken to NZ post and they have emailed me back to say since it was a FreightForward and had no label on it the process is to take it back to the depot and it takes 24 to 48 hours for this to happen.
