Send them an email saying thanks for accepting my offer, please get in touch and we can sort pick up etc and hopefully all will be good. As you say worth the chance and the offer is sent and accepted so you sort of have to go ahead with it. See what sort of reply you get to your email............... I've noticed some who use their phone a lot for TM don't always show as having been logged in but they actually have. ??
Did you pay by ping. TM may be arranging to refund you. It is unusual to get this info. via Trade Me and not the seller. Something must be going on for the seller to go to Trade Me for this. Maybe someone is having to isolate or something personal has happened so they cannot trade? Who knows what has happened? The message-board isn't really a way to 'report' something. It' usually just us trade me members kicking around here. But you can get some good advice from some long time traders here. It might take some time for a reply but you can fill in the forms on trade me contact us if chat is...
Go to 'My Trade Me' and scroll down until you get to Edit Delivery Address. My Trade Me page is where you find all that stuff.
Try not to stress too much about this. At least you have your money back. The store was honest in that regard. There are many reasons why they no longer have what you purchased. It got lost, (they go to get it in their warehouse after purchase & it's just not there) or they ran out of stock, someone listed in error. Or, with covid they could no longer get the stock? You cannot do anything about deleted feedback, but, like I said before, they were honest enough to refund you. This has happened to me as well, I was glad to have my money back so I could look elsewhere for what I needed.
This shipping being an estimate bothers me. It seems to contradict T & C's where it states the listing must be accurate, keep it honest.....so the instant you buy you have a contract where you are obliged to go ahead and complete the trade. Then the shipping cost goes up? So you instantly have to have complications with the seller, or the buyer, as the case may be, after purchase. And we all want that don't we. How can the listing be accurate when the shipping can be ramped up after purchase? T & C's also say the buyer pays the purchase price and any 'agreed' shipping. Is agreed shipping th...
Hi. I go straight to the listing if I click on the photo on Chrome. These things can differ between app or desktop views too.
Hi. Perhaps the link below could help. Bottom of the page refers to a store. https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007263511-Becoming-a-professional-seller
Hi. Just go to Managing your Account on the menu top of this page, then My Trade Me on side menu. credit card info is there.
Hi Elizabeth. I have also had this strange number count happen on and off for the past few months. It is as if the count is not keeping up with what I relist? If I wait an hour or two, or until the next day it seems to catch up and correct the numbers. I just make sure I count how many items I have actually relisted without looking at the numbers. If my unsolds disappear I wait a while again and they correctly appear later. Very odd indeed.
Hi Beryl. Deleting your won item won't remove the feedback so don't do that. I'm not sure why the help page is not working for you? If you go to the top of this page and click on buying and selling you will then find the feedback option in help. give it another try perhaps?
