Just to clarify, Trade Me charge a success fee on all sales, and charge for Ping transactions also.

The only way that I can think of is that you start another auction and add the Ping option. But that's going to get rather messy.

If he does it repeatedly then he should be classed as a trader and refer to himself as 'in-trade'.. If it is a one-off because he didn't like the instrument or some other reason then he is just a casual seller.
