Cannot Clear Recent Searches

I have tried to delete recent Trademe Search data without success.
On Windows PC/Chrome browser - it appears that recent searches can be deleted under My Trade Me/Settings, but still the search data returns. Have also tried clearing cookies without success
On an Android phone with Trademe App, there does not appear to be any option to clear recent search data.
Have tried reinstalling App, and still recent search data shows.
Can anyone assist me with this please??

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserI just cleared my recent searches on android - app Samsung S7 phone) by going in to Settings, Apps, Trademe, clicked on Storage, then Clear data, wait a while, then Clear Cache. I then went back and chose Force stop to close app, Restarted app and voila, no recent searches there. The website settings don't sync with the app so turning it off on the website doesn't affect the app.
