How can I get a copy of a closed or expired Trade Me Listing
AnsweredHi,
Does any know how could I contact the Trademe customer service to retreive the expired listing? I bought a vehicle from a private owner and it has broken down right after my purchase in an hour. The seller deleted the post and I cannot see the description again. I would like to keep the listing as evidence to file a cliam against Dispute Trubunal. Thank you~!

Kia Ora Andrew,
Sorry to read of your experience with that Trade,
Once a Classified Listing has been withdrawn you can't find any Historical information on the system - TradeMe may be able to help you although normally they do not provide Listing Descriptions or photo's. - As this is a recent sale & a 1 off it is definitely worth asking for evidence toward a Dispute Tribunal claim.
To contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance, if you select the Contact us Link at the bottom of any TM page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen, there may be a slight delay in this appearing.
Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once the Chat icon is selected - Talk to person - you will be taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff.The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmAll the Best - Cheers.0 -
Thank you.
I have some photos from the listing on my own (I download it) and I have the full link of the expired listing. Hope this help.1 -

Great stuff Andrew,
If you put that full link into the Chat window this will enable the Staff member to pull up any records more readily - Cheers.👍
