Cool Auctions?

You don't. You create an auction, then once it's live you can submit it to Trademe for them to decide if it's cool or not. Put Cool auctions in the Help search box up top here for more info.

Bit late to this but it also helps if you're a multimillionaire as it seems all Trade Me promotes in the "cool" auctions is high-end real estate. It used to have cool stuff... not sure what happened...
