Ping payment

So to me Trademe ping is theft, i sold an item sent bank details to buyer uses ping without my permission then i get success fees and ping fees deducted from sale so it only looks after the buyer it could be fifty fifty

Hello worrier. As per the emails and notifications, in-trade sellers have had Ping mandated on their listings since November last year. Perhaps you missed that somehow. The buyer didn't use Ping without your permission. It was there as a payment option on your listing. 

Why did trade me not ask for a code after i got the 0.01 cent deposit i am still waiting for my money

Jeanw123 They don't need a code. The 1c payment just confirms that it is a valid bank account (and doesn't bounce) 

Once you have received that 1c you can request the transfer of the rest of the payment again if you are doing it manually. Otherwise you can turn on automatic payments so it will transfer out any balance each day at 2:45pm 

I requested the withdrawl at 9am sat and i got an email to send in ID stuff and i sent it through asap and then sat night i got the one cent and then sunday i got nothing. When will i get my money?

Ah now I see you got a request for additional ID. That might take a few days for Trade Me to get to and process. Unfortunately they aren't exactly known for being hasty there. If you only sent that on Saturday night you will likely be waiting for a few more days yet I'm afraid.

Yes, the payment will be on hold in Trade Me's holding account. Once they get to confirming your ID it will be released. The money is safe. Potentially it might have already have been released. This happens daily at 2:45pm so if that is the case it will show for you today or overnight. 

Could it have been released it said that it got sent on saturday and it did not bounce back

If identity verification has not yet been been confirmed then I would say the payment hasn't been released. 

When it has been confirmed, that should trigger the release from Trade Me's holding account.

You'll just have to have a bit more patience until they get to your ID.  From other posts on here it seems like there are many of these coming through at present for staff to process.
