Fake apartments listed by overseas people on Trade Me

If you see any items on Trade Me that you think look suspicious you can report them directly to Trade Me. There is a "Community Watch" link at the bottom of the listing page. Seems strange though. As these types of listings cost money to place. So if they are truly fake it seems unusual for a scammer to throw money away like that.
