Best Image dimensions to upload your photos

As big as you can while keeping below Trademe's 5MB limit. My std images are 6000 x 4000 pixels and depending on subject are around 9mb - 12mb, so I usually shrink or crop to 1/2 that dimension wise, so effectively 1/4 size at , so well within the TM limit. Generally anything around 1600 x 1200 pixels should be just fine yet still give plenty of detail.

Hi Chris, I did do a guide earlier in the year. It doesn't cover everything, as I did it specifically for shipping templates, but if there was a particular area you wanted help with, maybe ask on the thread below which has the step by step or flick me an email. I've been using the CSV export/import since 2010 when I was on TMs retail feed listing method.
