What does "last logged in" mean?

I had a listing sold on 20th December with one bid at the reserve price. I have received no communication from the "buyer" despite having emailed them several times. I have now involved Trademe. My question arises from the buyer's "last logged in " date as reported by Trademe being 3rd October 2023. The winning bid was made on 20th December 23.
How can a bid be made if the Trademe member is not logged in to their account? Am I missing something?

L Community SuperuserHi Chris. The last logged in thingo is only triggered if you use the desktop site. If people only log in on various Apps on mobile etc or only respond to messages on their phone they don't show as a login. Looks odd doesn't it. Does pay to check the desktop site now and again for security I think.
