Accepted an offer then item was marked as unsold
A buyer made an offer on an item I was selling, I accepted that offer and I received an email saying the item was sold. I got in contact with the buyer via email, multiple times, but never heard back. I then realized the item was marked as unsold???
I'm not really sure what happened, did the buyer pull out of the trade? If so, I was never notified or contacted by the buyer or trade me.

Not sure where it is marked as unsold Kathryn? If the item sold by fixed price offer which it sounds like it has, then there will be an entry in your Sold items folder and also an entry in your account transactions list for the success fee. If you received an email saying it was sold then that's a sale. The buyer can't cancel a trade as such, but the seller can request a success fee refund and then Trademe email the buyer to hurry them up. If Trademe don't hear back or the buyer does not intent to complete and notifies Trademe, Trademe will then refund your success fees and email you a note about this.
If it's been a week, I would request a fee refund and go through that process to get your fees back.

Hello,
This has just happened to me as well. Just curious how do you apply for a success fee refund when the item is appearing as unsold.
Got the notification/email of the item being sold.
Cheers,

Harrison, a bit strange that the item shows in both your Unsold folder and also in your sold folder? Not sure how that can be? If it did sell it will be in your sold folder and you click in to that listing and click on the link there as below..
