Restricting Buyers
Is there any way to list items where only people with (say) a 98% feedback rating can bid? I have had a bunch of sales lately from buyers I don't hear from them, or they don't pay, or they don't turn up to collect. Right now I have an item on my porch that has been sitting there for 4 days and I just know the woman isn't coming. When I look at their feedback, often other sellers have had similar experiences. I just want to minimise as many of the time wasters as possible, especially when you sell things on a success free promotion. Or if this isn't possible, is there any other suggestions people have?

Hi Steven I don’t believe Trade Me has an option to restrict buyers based on their feedback rating I know you can do this if you are using BidBud to manage your Trade Me listings as it has a option called “Auction Monitoring” where you can set the your desired feedback rating for members who can bid on your listing this only works with auctions it does not work if you have a listing with a buy now. It will also notify you if someone with really bad feedback bids on your listing and blacklist them for you. Thanks SJ - really useful info. I do use BidBud for some listings but not all, and for the most part offer buy nows as we have a lot of stuff to shift and I find its the quickest way to clear things. Some of these buyers just do my head in. I do blacklist after any bad experience. Thanks again.

You can also set it up to exclude members who have a low feedback rating, or who aren't Address Verified, from your Fixed Price Offers.
Example below,
It is a shame we cannot restrict low feedback's bidding on our actual auctions in My Products too,
