Start Price and Buy Now question - does Buy Now disappear when bid placed?

Hi - i just want to clarify - if a listing has a start price (which is also the reserve price) and a buy-now price  - then if a bidder bids on the start price - does that automatically remove the buy-now option ?  thanks
