Lost sale & want to buy from winner
AnsweredI tried to bid on a painting and nothing transmitted and therefore i was unable to place a bid. I am still very interested in this painting and have the buyers Trade Me identity and i would like to contact them to ask if they would be interested in selling this painting to me. How do i do this?
Thank you

A few ways to go Christine. You can click on the sellers other listings and see if they have other listings where you can ask a Q regarding your interest in the other painting and see if they can relist or send you a fixed price offer.
You can wait to see if they do send a fixed price offer if it's a one off and it sold, or if they have more they may send an FPO anyway.
You can click on the sellers name and add them to your favourites so if they do choose to relist that one or something else, you will be emailed.
Lots of other ways, but those are the main ones.

Thanks Gary, however this sale was two months ago and i took a screen shot of the bidding history, so all i have is the the buyer’s Trade Me code. So I’m wondering how to contact the person how bought the painting. I have no information of the seller. Thank you.

Ah, I didn't realise it had been sold and you wanted to buy from the winner back then. Same thing applies really. Go to the buyers trademe page, see if they have any listings to ask a q on, add to favs if they don't, so you'll be notified if they do list anything. Other than that, there's snooping through their feedbacks for clues, facebook, insta, white pages, linkedin, and other socials sites to try and make contact.
Easiest way to go to the buyers trademe page is via the recently updated profiles page where you can pop their trademe name in the search box.
