Free Selling and FPO
AnsweredHi community,
I created a listing taking the opportunity of a free selling day (last 22nd July), the auction closed without selling and now TradeMe has informed me that someone is interested in purchasing the item. I read the conditions and it looks like a fixed price offer is also included in the free selling, though when I'm about to create the FPO TradeMe warns me that:
If the offer is accepted you will be charged a success fee. Making this offer represents a commitment to sell at the stated price. See the current terms and conditions.
Has anyone had any similar experience that could shed some light?
Thanks!

Hi Federico anytime I have had a listing during a success fee free promo that has not sold and I have then offered it at a fixed price offer if that offer is then accepted there has been no success fee charged. Refer to this link from the Help section and see #2 Success Fee Discount https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360019821131-Success-fee-and-listing-promotional-extra-discount-terms-and-conditions#Success-Fee-Discount

As it has been awhile since the promo you are referring to I would check with Trade Me via their Live Chat option and get them to clarify if you will be charged a success fee or not.
