Full price payable on acceptance of bid?

Can someone win an auction using the Buy Now option but then pay only a deposit, with the balance promised on delivery of the item? This raises the possibility of the buyer pulling out of the deal if they decide they don't like what they've bought.

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserThey can try, but no, that's not the way things work. If collecting, then yes that can be accepted (if you want to). Special arrangements like that need to be asked for and agreed BEFORE buying.

Lesliew, if the seller is not answering Q & A before the listing closes, then that's a red flag warning not to bid.
