After pay , instant send?

Is it safe to send goods straight after we get a notification that they’ve paid via Afterpay? My concern is that the funds for some reason won’t go through after I have sent them the goods.

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserIf the money is showing in your Afterpay account, it's usually safe to send. I've never had a payment reversed, but have had the odd one hold for a while before Trademe have confirmed it.
In the email Trademe send the seller it says...Please ensure that the amount paid is correct and that the goods are shipped to the delivery address below. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are delivered within seven days.
The buyer also receives an email saying "Your payment was accepted and the seller has been instructed to ship the goods."
