Ping Withdrawal Delayed After First AML Verification – No Payment or Support Response
AnsweredHi everyone, I requested a Ping withdrawal of $1,222.62 on 19 October and completed the First AML identity verification on the same day.
However, I still haven't received my money, and my account continues to show "Identity verification: In-progress".
I've contacted Trade Me support several times but haven't received any response. This is really frustrating, especially since I've already provided all the required information.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? How long did your verification take, and did you eventually receive your money?
I hope someone from Trade Me can help resolve this issue.
Thanks.

Kia Ora nobu15,
Did you make a Manual or Automatic transfer out? - Can you still see the funds in your Ping account?
Refer to the Post below...

Hi, thanks for your reply!
I requested the withdrawal manually on 19 October. My Ping balance is now $0.00, and the transaction history shows that $1,222.62 was transferred out to my ANZ account.
However, I still haven't received the money. I completed the First AML verification on the same day, but my account still shows "Identity verification: In-progress".
I've contacted support several times without any response.
Do you think my money is still being held while they review my identity verification?

Thanks nobu15,
That's a good sign it's left your Ping account, whilst it's showing ID verification in progress double check your emails including your spam/junk folder just incase you've been requested for any further information. - If not, there is a possible delay in processing times currently, an extra influx of first time transfers have come in, the company will email you once the funds are on there way, then it can take a couple of days for the Bank to process the funds into your account. The funds will be sitting in a secure holding account until released once verification is passed, still attached to your Ping account in the backend.
As you've made several enquiries to support, if this was through the chatbot you will be able to check the status of those through 'My Requests' Top right of community pages, including this one. Repeat requests are closed, you can check the status at the end of the subject line, go through one that's still open to check for any updates or add further details. - It does take 2-3 days for a response to messages left, hopefully you're not too far off from receiving the funds now. - Cheers.
