Is there no way to put a reply to feedback now?

If you are on the old format it will appear as normal. 

My method to get to it on the new format is convoluted, but it works. Perhaps someone knows an easier way.  Go to the auction in question. Hit View feedback. You will be taken back to your My Trade Me page. Scroll down from there and the respond links will appear. It doesn't always seem to appear if you directly hit the number link after your name instead. Screenshot attached of what it looks like on new and old..
