Q & A's
AnsweredA listing I came across won't allow me to post a question in the Q&A section of the auction. I have NEVER struck this problem before, so why has it happened? Can anyone, please help? Thanks.

This means there is a restriction placed on the seller for some reason. Proceed with caution. Cheers.

It can depend on what type of question you are asking,Is this the only Listing of theirs you are unable to ask a question on? - TradeMe can restrict Q&A's if there have been repetitive breaches by either party &/Or if there is something not quite right with the Listing itself, the company may be awaiting further information regarding the item for sale or verifying the Seller themselves. - It's also possible the Seller may've blacklisted you for any given reason - Have you dealt with them previously or watched any of their items without purchasing or accepting or declining a fixed price offer?Numbers & characters used in questions can also cause an issue - sharing contact information is not allowed as this has the potential to take the sale offsite where neither the Seller or Buyer is protected should something go wrong with the trade. If you've used any you could try removing any numbers and the character which represents the word 'at' if used as this represents a possible email address being shared. You could try asking a question on a different listing they may have running, request a friend or family Member to ask a question for you enabling you to determine if it is the Listing which has possible temporary restrictions applied. - Checking the Seller's Feedback page may also hold a clue on possible account behaviour. - Cheers.0
