How should I be adding free shipping as an option on subsequent items?
I have a number of listings for items which can be posted together. In the past I've been able to have one of the shipping options as "$0" "add to current order", the idea being that the customer chooses the appropriate postage rate for one item and the rest can be added without any extra fees.
This has worked for about 20 years, but recently it has been flagged as a problem as there isn't an option in the postage pop-down for zero payment.
I'm now unable to relist a number of my listings (not all of them, it's a bit random). Does anyone have a work around for this?
Cheers!

Hello toddsbroms
How are you listing? Desktop? App? Listing tool?
Screenshots are always helpful
I can add a combined shipping option here on Desktop.
If you are selling a decent number of items, (It seems you are) you could look into My Products and create Shipping Templates. This will automate all your shipping cost inputs, and give you access to the dedicated $0.00 combined option.

I think you will see, as of today (29 April), the Specify shipping costs function has gone, and is replaced with an inflexible mechanism which doesn't recognise the possibility of combined postage - see screenshot. If you attempt a second option of $0, you get an error message saying the shipping options have to be unique. Yes, you can use My Products and set up a $0 (if purchased with item of similar postage) for now, but it is really set up for businesses, not casual sellers. TM seems to have forgotten that not everything sold on it is a package that needs a courier. Some of us actually still use snail mail.

Hello again westham60
I answered on your other post you created.
Setting up a Shipping Template with My Products will be the best option for you :)
I use them on both casual and business accounts.
