Keyword issue
I'm searching a last name to find content like books, photos etc but the search automatically only shows property results. It's frustrating I don't want property results

Callum Community SuperuserYes, it's an unfortunate problem that has been mentioned on here many times. Same issue when you search for a town or city name that is a book title or postcard or something. It's especially annoying when you get sent to Property, because there is no "Search all of Trade Me instead" option from there.
The only solution is to browse to the books category first, then do you search from there.
Still, if you want to add your voice you can use the "Tell us what you think" link at the bottom of any page on Trade Me after you do your search.
