Holiday mode?
I've often wondered why Trademe dont have a 'holiday mode' or 'temporarily closed' option?
As a small home based business, we sometimes travel at short notice due to family commitments, and historically I've spent up to an hour going through 150+ listings adding a comment to each listing description so that potential customers are aware there will be a delay with shipping.
I know this feature has been requested many times before - surely something like this wouldn't be difficult to introduce, Trademe already have the option to add a listing footer to each listing (this isn't obvious enough for a closed message), what about an option for a listing header?

If you use 'My Products' you can add a 'footer', which places that block of text into every one of your listings. You can then edit that footer in any of the my products items and it will update all the current listings.
I'll often use it if I have to go out of town and I update all my listings to offer a cheap delivery to that area.

Yeah OP mentioned they're aware of that. They're looking for something more prominent, like a heading. I put in a feature request about a year ago and support passed it on...

Brilliant idea. Shouldn't be hard for Trade Me to add as a feature. I hope they take this up.

I wonder if they just expect you to move to a paid solution like tradevine or omins. Hence lack of feature updates on My Products.
I for one would really like an auto comments option, for adding notes/Q&A
