Accepted buyer offer but haven't received money on Ping
Yesterday I accepted a buyer's OFFER on a listing. The listing is now closed but when I checked my Ping balance it's showing me $0.00. I even checked my Transactions history and the latest activity was my top-up for my TM account. I thought the whole point of enforcing Ping is so that the payments are INSTANT and SAFER??? I was ready to send the item but stopped because I don't see that the money has come through to me. Even this morning when I checked in case there was a delay on TM's side, it's still showing $0.00. On my listing I can only see buyer details and the amount of the item and the shipping but nowhere does it indicate payment status. Is it slightly different for an ACCEPTED OFFER where after the seller accepted their offer, the buyer still needs to MAKE A PING PAYMENT ON THEIR END? Is it not automatically taken after the seller accepts their offer?? Since I do not have the funds on my Ping balance at the moment I cannot ship the item out until I receive it

Kia Ora sleepy-fox18,
This indicates the Buyer has not paid for the item yet so you are right not to ship any goods - when the Buyer has paid, if they selected Ping as their payment method the funds show right away. - You are best to email your Buyer to ask when payment is intended - bear in mind Buyers have 2 days to make contact and 7 days in which to make payment from the date the Listing closed, as per the code of conduct rules. - All the Best.

Hi S, turns out that the buyer has confirmed that they still needed to action the Ping payment on their end after I accepted their offer. I don't know if this is the same for an auction or Buy Now. Very confusing

Kia Ora sleepy-fox18,
That's great to hear you've had contact,
Yes! if there are multiple payment methods on a Listing = Ping, Afterpay &/Or Cash, for Buy Now Listings the payment can be deferred - If it is a 'Ping only' Listing then payment by Ping is required instantly to confirm and complete the purchase. - Congratulations on your sale.😊
