Does trademe with hold payments?

Yes, if someone newish or someone buys something expensive or with a new card and has paid by Ping, the money rather than going straight to the sellers Ping acc, sits in a holding account till it is verified. Once it's verified Trademe release it to the sellers Ping account and they can then either withdraw to their bank acc overnight or spend it on TM to buy things. This can happen quickly, or slowly depending on what it was and how easy it is to get hold of the buyer or card companies to confirm.
