Dear Trade Me community - and more particularly Trade Me Team:
I'm completing a listing (in Home and Living) and find that the bank deposit option is not available to me, because I'll pay a lower Ping percentage than the success fee. That sounds good, and I'll go with it, but what if the buyer doesn't want to use Ping? This means my item is less appealing.

Callum Community SuperuserCorrect. If the buyer does not want to use Ping for some reason, they won't be able to purchase it.
However you may be able to add "cash" to you listing then get your bank details to the buyer that way. Even if they don't intend to actually use cash to pay you.

Good advice, thank you. I didn't think the cash option was working when I was listing the item but I've gone back and been able to change it.
