Change to finding a member ?
AnsweredMaybe I'm missing something but I used to be able to look up a member, whose TMe name I knew, to see what they were currently selling. I don't have everyone one my "Favourites" list so this was a quick way to find the things I'm interested in. Used to be able to go to "Community" and "Members", enter the name and see if there's anything there of interest. I know a lot of little things have changed in TMe of late and they're irritations that are starting to make me wonder if TMe is determined to slowly turn people away.

Hi There
I don’t think trademe is trying to turn people away
They just have updated systems
Individuals privacy a bit more
If you have been away from the trademe site
for a while not using trademe you would notice some differences in there operating systems
But honestly it’s a great site to sell and buy from stillCeleste

Just another unannounced change that appears without any comment - often these so called updates have not been tested and have side issues that are never explained - many changes are not necessarily in the interest of Trade Me users, only the expert tech staff they employ ??

Thanks Lisa, that's perfect. I had a similar one for years that suddenly stopped working a few days ago but this one is spot on !
Thanks for taking the time to reply. Cheers.
Ralph.

Something I've also found annoying and difficult, among many others. Celestechch, I'm not sure it relates to privacy when it's a way of finding a member's auctions. Can still find listings by member's name through bidbud, though Trade Me seem to be working hard to become incompatible with that system.
