Possible Scam that mentions Trade Me Jobs

Hi Trade Me.

I was contacted Friday 5/9/25 by phone from a recruitment agency calling themselves "TalentHaus" from a very English sounding man. He made specific reference to Trade Me Jobs ion regard to my name and phone number.

In asking how he got my phone information from Trade Me Jobs, they indicated they had a "contractual arrangement" with Trade Me to "share data" with them re: job searches made by individuals.

Somehow I do not think this is sounds right.

I searched the Web for "talenthaus" as part of the site name. There are various sites, and they all have a very similar feel and design to their landing pages etc. The site with "talenthaus" ONLY (www.talenthaus.com) is based in Toronto not NZ.

I do not think Trade Me shares data like this... Do you share this data with recruitment agencies?  Have I got this wrong?

And I do not think data would be shared to outside NZ.

I do think this is a scam.
