How to transfer Afterpay money to bank account?

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Kay,Have you activated your Afterpay after registration?Your Bank account is credited with 1cent and a 6 digit reference code - once you find the code in your Bank statement, in the Desktop site go back into 'My Trade Me' Account details page > scroll down to My Balances & select the blue Activate tab > Enter the 6 digit code in your Bank account. - You may have to wait a couple of days for the 1cent to turn up in your Bank account if you've only just registered for Afterpay.Payments received via Afterpay are automatically paid into your registered bank account therefore after registration & activation there are no further actions you need to take to transfer funds.If you're using one of the Apps type TradeMe.co.nz into your device browser to pick up the Desktop site. - You can manage Afterpay by going through your 'My TradeMe' as in the steps above. - There was an issue with Afterpay / Pay Now not appearing on the App awhile back, I'm not sure where this is at currently, perhaps another Member can assist with this question - Cheers.1 -

The funds should appear in your Bank account within 1 - 2 days depending on your Banks processing times. - Payments leave TradeMe around 7am so any payments after this will go through to your Bank the following day.
How long have you been waiting for the payment to show?

If Afterpay payment received in pay now account on Friday, 8am, does that mean it will be processed the following business day? (Monday).

Yes! the payment will be scheduled to go out on the Monday morning.
I can confirm the issue with seeing payments on the Apps is still an ongoing issue - the Desktop is currently the method. - Cheers.

I received confirmation at 10:30pm last night, but I still haven't received anything in the bank account? How long does it take? Do I need to press a "Transfer Now" button like to Ping?

Congratulations on your sale,
Have you activated your Afterpay account after registration to "Pay now"? = Selected the blue activate tab sitting in your TradeMe "Account Details" page under "Manage Afterpay" and entered the 6 digit code left with a 1cent deposit in your Bank account. - If No! that's the next step, the payment will then go through to your Bank in the next batch lot approx. 7:am Tuesday 7 April 2026 seeing as it's now the long Easter weekend. - If Yes! the funds will have transferred out around 7:am this morning, it can take 1 - 2 days to show in your Bank account depending on your Bank's processing times - Banks are becoming much quicker in processing these batch transfers so keep an eye out. - Cheers.
