How can I stop my Trade Me home page being cluttered?

Hello Jill. You can't. If you don't like the homepage, you can make another page your landing page when you open Trade Me. But can't you just ignore all that if you want to? The search bar is right at the top. 

You can also install an adblocker if it's the offsite ads that are annoying you.

I just find that page of recommendations visually intrusive. Probably, more relevant, I find the recommendations are so far off the mark in terms of my interests, that is all just a waste of good screen real estate.
