photos not being accepted
AnsweredI know photos greater than 5mb aren't accepted, but even 4.8mb are being refused which I find annoying as my ip13 at standard setting & following google instructions they are still around 5mb & for me I usually only need 3 photos - am about to give up due to not being able to load photos unless I transfer them to a computer to shave usually .5 of a mb off a photo.. I've had to load photos of some things that are sometimes taken several years ago

Kia Ora Louise,
A few ways to try to uploading the photo's via your phone...
Have you tried uploading the photo's via the Desktop site via your ip13 browser? - typing TradeMe.co.nz in the phone browser to go to the Desktop site.
Another option to try - upload the photo's to your TradeMe photo file first via the Desktop site, then add them to your Listings from there - https://www.trademe.co.nz/MyTradeMe/UploadPhoto.aspx
A third option - send the photo's to yourself as an attachment to an email - this reduces size by a few KB. > Save it to a photo file. > Click TradeMe browse photos > Open the photo file and select the photo. - It should upload as resized. - Cheers.

Sadly this so improved new system seems to know no limits in annoying TradeMe participants.
changing the size and direction of photos is the latest improvement.
why cant they go back to basics. that worked nicely for all in the past.

agree - I wish sometimes it was a collective amount & then I wouldn't have to worry about it.. partner has investigated & the only way without downloading yet another that might or might not be any good - is for me to email them to him & for him to send them back to me..
