How do I correct a Trade Me error on my listing?
AnsweredI have a listing for a rental property. The listing makes it clear the property is in the Auckland City Centre/CBD. Yet, I just discovered that when someone looks at the listing the google map location shown is in Te Atatu, same street name but different suburb. I'm worried that is the address which goes into the TM search engine when people are searching for rentals and therefore if they're looking for a place in the CBD they won't be directed to our listing.
I can't edit the google address that's given because it seems to be added automatically by the TradeMe Bot or whatever controls these things. There is also no way I can find to actually communicate with Trade Me about an error/complaint relating to TradeMe service or functionality. You just get taken to the automated so-called "help" regime which doesn't deal with things like this. I don't know why it has to be so hard for a customer to communicate with the service provider for something like this.
There's every chance I've just missed the very obvious and accessible solution to all this and I' d appreciate any help that's available here. thanks

Log out and run a search as a Buyer would is the Best way to check if the Listing comes up in the correct CBD locale for you. - If a change is still required I'm not sure if this would be a google maps correction - You can contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance in directing you to the correct place, - for Live Chat If you select the Contact us Link at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen. - Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once opened - Talk to person - and you will be taken to entering a few details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff. - Enter your Listing number in this window enabling staff to pull it up readily.
The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 5:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmAll the Best! - Cheers.1 -
Thank you! that's awesome advice. I tried the search suggestion and sure enough our listing didn't come up when I specified city centre. So will give the live chat a go. Cheers
