Contact months after delivery
I sold an item on trademe in early June, this morning i got an email from someone saying they haven't got the item yet. I said i didnt sell you anything recently and sent a screenshot from nz post tracking saying delivered 7th of June. The person replied implying they bought something from me last week. I sold one last week to someone in Dunedin and he emailed me to confirm the parcel arrived. Do i ignore this person claiming i haven't sent them this item? I don't understand this

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserEditedAsk them to provide you with the unique P reference number or KP reference number that only Trademe, the seller and the buyer have access to. If they can't do that, then it's a possible scam attempt. If they give you a reference number and it is not in your emails from Trademe as a sold email, then it's not valid. You can also search your emails for this persons email address. If you have sold them something, their email address will be in the email Trademe sent you when an item sells.
If it's not valid, ignore and block.

Well that was a weird one. I posted above and it went through ok, then realised I had missed the k on the first word, so edited, then wham, it goes to pending...lol
