Troubles with a Buyer
Hi all,
Yesterday I posted about a buyer who bought Levi Shorts for $15 from me and selected the $1 combined shipping option. In short, I emailed them saying they needed to choose the correct shipping amount, and they ignored me and sent back an email asking for positive feedback.
I sent them a full refund through Ping, and blacklisted them as it doesn't seem they get the idea of combined shipping.
Today I have received emails from the buyer, one says "SORRY SORRY PLEASE SORRY I BUY PANTS LEVIS IN 15 DOLLAR MORE 1 DOLLAR SHIPPING AND PAY 16 DOLLAR IN TOTAL PLEASE PLEASE SEND ME PANTS LEVIS TO (Buyers name and address). This was all in the title, nothing written in the body of the email.
Another emails states "I BUY PANTS LEVIS REFERENCE (reference number) AND DEPOSIT MONEY IN BANK (my bank account number) OK ALL GOOD THANKS"
I replied that they need to pay $5.25 for the shipping as per the rates shown on my listing.
To me, this is totally unusual behaviour.
The first payment they made was through Ping, but they now have my account number because I also offer Bank Deposit as a payment option and have the details sent directly to the buyer, and it sounds like they are adamant on only sending $16.
Has anyone had an experience with a buyer like this? Is there any way that I can report them since their emails aren't aggressive just annoying? What would you do?

Hello Tia. Many genuine buyers don't have English as a first language. Just stick to your clear and concise emails and hopefully you can secure payment and get the trade completed. Some buyers are definitely harder work than others, I once had an email trail of over 20 emails. Yes 20. All for a $5 purchase of a broken screen phone. But we got there in the end.
Maybe send them an email spelling out the total amount due $15 for the shorts, $5.25 for shipping = Total $20.25. And put a time limit on when you expect to see the payment by or you will cancel and relist the item.
