Filtering out online traders you do not want in your search
AnsweredHi,
When i search on google/bing etc I just add -aliexpress to filter out that site from my search.
Trademe search ignores the "-smartfox' tag. What can I do to remove some shops from my search ?

Hi Alistair have you heard of BidBud it has a feature where blacklisted members are not shown in your search results refer below
"Blacklisted members not shown in search
Blacklisted members are not shown in search results. If a category is overrun by a few large sellers that you don't want to see, just blacklist them and you won't be bothered by their listings any more. This also means you won't be distracted by listings from people you don't want to deal with.
Note: You have to add them on BidBud for this to work. This also enables you to make a note why they're blacklisted."Refer to this link for more details about BidBud https://www.bidbud.co.nz/about

Hi Fonncya as I said in my comment you have to blacklist the seller using BidBud for them not to show up in your search results if you blacklist them using Trade Me they will still appear as the Trade Me blacklist option does not work to remove sellers from your search. Refer to this part of my comment above “ Note: You have to add them on BidBud for this to work.”
