Request a fixed price offer
If an auction or Buy Now listing you’re interested in closes without selling, you can ask the seller to send out a fixed price offer. The seller gets a notification about the request and you stay anonymous.
You can’t send a request if the seller’s already made a fixed price offer or relisted the item. If the option isn't available, try browsing for similar listings or save the seller to your Favourites.
To request a fixed price offer on the Trade Me website:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. From the left menu, select Lost.
3. Select the listing.
4. Select Ask the seller to relist this item or to make a Fixed Price Offer.
5. Follow the prompts.
6. Select Confirm request.
To request a fixed price offer on iOS:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Select trophy-cross Lost.
3. Select the listing.
4. Under ‘More actions’, select Request a fixed price offer.
To request a fixed price offer on Android:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Select trophy-cross Lost.
3. Select the listing.
4. Under ‘Lost summary’, select Request a fixed price offer.
Request a relist
Requesting a relist isn’t available on all listings.
If it isn’t available, save a favourite search and turn on notifications to find out if the seller relists the item or if there are any similar listings.
If a listing you’re interested in closes without selling, you can ask the seller to relist it. The seller gets a notification about the request and you stay anonymous.

The seller chooses what to do
It's the seller's choice to offer the listing at a fixed price or to relist. We don’t ask the seller to relist on your behalf.
