Send shipping costs to complete your trade
If you chose I’ll arrange shipping later when you set up your listing, you’ll need to send a shipping cost to wrap up the trade. Once you send the buyer their options, they can easily pick one and pay with Ping so you can get their purchase on its way.
Sending shipping costs is only available if the buyer paid with Ping.
If they paid with cash or Afterpay, you'll need to organise shipping and payment with the buyer through email.
How to send shipping costs
To send shipping costs to the buyer:
1. Go to your Sold page.
2. Find the listing and scroll down to the "Next steps" section.
3. Select Send shipping costs.
4. Enter the Cost for shipping.
5. Enter the Shipping method to tell the buyer how it will travel (For example: CourierPost, NZ Post).
6. Select Add option if you want to give the buyer a few choices to pick from. This could be costs from different couriers, or even a small fee for you to drop it off.
7. Select Send shipping costs.
A Ping transaction fee applies
Just like the main purchase, you will pay a standard 2.19% Ping transaction fee when the buyer pays for their shipping.

What happens next
- The buyer gets notified: We’ll ask them to review the options, pick one, and finish their secure payment.
- Your status updates: In your "Next steps" section, you will see a Shipping costs sent status under your past activities.
