Hi Lorraine - I can only say, do NOT trust the "specify shipping costs" section where you can (supposedly) calculate courier costs. These are not accurate - my courier cost increased by over 100%. You cannot change shipping costs once specified - the only way is to ask the buyer to pay the difference, and this is very difficult if they have paid by Ping. So, I would say, best to manually estimate your own costs via NZ Post (or other ) website.

I also used the courier cost calculator in good faith when listing an item. But, when it came to book a courier, the price had gone up from $11.48 to $24 - over 100%. I have reached out to the buyer to pay the extra cost, but that is significant, and for some buyers, may change their ability to buy. It is also extremely rude that I cannot alter the estimates on my other listings.
