Thanks for all the feedback. It turned put the buyer had been scammed before so they were weary. I guess I was worried they would turn up unannounced. Anyway, I gave then my address and they made payment. So all is good
I recently sold an item, I sent through my bank details and let them know I would send through my address once I have received payment. The buyer has refused to put through the payment until I have supplied my address. This hasn't ever happened to me or been an issue before so keen to hear what others feel is best practice.
