I had a similar note. TradeMe informed me they would take action unless I removed it. I did so last night. For over 200 auctions. It was as fun as it sounds. Anyways since this fee came in I’ve increased efforts to sell elsewhere and it is paying dividends. Among other things I’m loading listings to an ecommerce site; and as I do so I increase the cost of the listing on TradeMe so it is more expensive. I sell vintage audio gear. Any customer who sees a listing on TradeMe and does a Google search to find reviews etc might well find my own site where it’s listed with the exact same listing...
Can you post a link to an auction, or a screenshot of it please?
Possibly they did and royally screwed it up.
Great: MyProducts is down for maintenance, while TradeMe no doubt make their anticompetitive changes. With no warning or notification as far as I can see. Just great.

I cannot meet the requirements of section 10.1 ("A seller using Ping must ship items as quickly as reasonably possible (and in any case no later than within three working days of notification of payment") as due to the fragility of the items I have to post it can take me longer than this to secure adequate packaging and wrrap them accordingly. TradeMe: Can you please advise here what Service Level Agreement in terms of timeliness are in place for Ping refund requests? And what kind of arbitration training do TradeMe staff reviewing these requests have? How can judgements against resellers be disputed, should we believe they are unfair?
Excellent! They are one of several media I spoke with. Will check out the article. I am increasingly reaching out to repeat customers direct and selling much, much more stuff outside of TradeMe. Thanks TradeMe…you helped motivate me to work harder to reduce what I pay you, and it’s paying off!
