On using my PC, I managed to delete just the 1 item to see if it chose 2. Prior to deleting, it showed 1 only was being deleted. I do agree with you the old version was so much more user friendly. This new system does indeed frustrate me also, I guess as this is the new way of doing things, I just have to learn it. I'm getting there...slowly. 

Thank you for this question (which I found on Google) and for the helpful answers. I have just had a frustrating conversation with the bot, going around in circles. A human response is way better for sure. It is easier to find on my android opposed to my PC. Tap UNSOLD listings. Top right corner are 3 dots - press DELETE ITEMS, choose your item and delete. Easy Peasy.
