Yes, you can use BAC for that. Strange seller though, I specifically mention in my listings that I won't handle courier arranged by a buyer, because they are a hassle and I can't load the shipping price with packaging, etc.
This could be a "frequent request" but IMHO definitely not crucial, there are so many crucial fixes traders are waiting for, I'm happy this is not on the priority list, or not even considered, for now.
From a seller's point of view (I hope you don't mind haha), I'd send tracking details as soon as the parcel is ready for pick up by the courier. That's when my job is done, the rest is the courier's job. If they don't pick up on time, it's still the courier's problem. I'll of course make sure the parcel goes out somehow (even to the extent of dropping it off at the post shop myself). But if I delay sending the tracking details (even when it's already available), then that becomes my (the seller's) problem.
33% error rate is waaaaaay too high!!! Callum's templates are extremely simple, with only 2 options and yet still managed to achieve a 33% error rate, that's shocking! Just shows how the rural dodgers are going to take full advantages of this flawed template design.
flossy63, that's definitely not something the new templates could handle. You can put a bunch of shipping options in your listing, but there's no way to tell a buyer what each option is for. It's really easy for the data scientists at Trade Me to run a data analysis to see how sellers are currently setting up their templates, but doesn't look like they have tried looking before making those changes...haha
flossy63, yep, don't click that "Update to new template" link if you have no urgent need to switch, don't be a free tester (aka guinea pig), that'll save you a lot of headaches...haha
Bre, have you opened a dispute?
Nope, can't do that, ask them to talk to Trade Me, it's a Trade Me restriction.
I'm going to start using the new template for the "benefits" of the new user experience, but I'm going to put a disclaimer on all listings regarding that delivery estimates, just so that I don't get accused of breaking that promise when a parcel got delayed.
If you accidentally clicked that button on top of My Products, I don't think there's a straight forward way to reverse that, TM only provides a one way traffic way to enable for all listings, but no way to disable for all listings. But you can still do a bulk update (provided you have a somewhat uniform payment methods accepted across all products), or you can probably update by bulk upload using a CSV file. Both of these ways are too complicated for me to teach you in this reply, you have to go searching for them in the help section (good luck on finding them).
